Alright so the flash player issue seems to be fixed,

But now i have another issue. I have noticed that when i disconnect my laptop from power my laptop becomes extremely sluggish and freezes intermittently. It seems to happen even more as I lower the energy requirements on the energy management. This happens when nothing is running on the desktop, when watching videos, when playing games, when exploring through the harddrive, when on the internet.

have you tried to change power settings to "high performance" or "balanced"?

Yes i have. The problem persists on all settings, high perf and balanced, although less frequent than the power saving modes.

is there any error under event logs?
( right click my computer > manage > event logs )

uninstalling power management seems to have stopped those errors, but i am also getting errors on the Disk event 11 on \Device\Harddisk1\DR1

you need to install power management.

backup your datas to another dvd and contact lenovo support line. it seems you have hardware issue.
