Hello!
I can see there is a new bios for y560p. Can somebody tell what updates and fixes does it have?
And it says that this bios is for WinXP and Win7 x32 only. I'm using Win7 x64, does it mean that I won't be able to update my bios?

change history only says "Latest Version BIOS fixed the pixel dancing issue",
hopefully the dancing pixels and the sound dropout issues are solved and the AES-NI feature has been enabled.
Somebody dare to test the new BIOS and then please report his findings?
very curious... Zehn

Not sure about the sound dropout problem, I've never noticed it on my laptop.

SilverWind, please check if you notice the sound dropout with your machine,
would be educational to know if its present on all Y460p/Y560p...
thank you... Zehn

Just checked it with the "DPC Latency Checker" and it seems that the problem is still there after the bios update.
Here is a screenshot: http://scrshot.ru/49.full
But to be honest I've never heard any sound shutters...

All,
The 21 BIOS was already in the pipeline for release when when we spoke with Zehnsteine.
We have a Y560p from a customer that noted the sound drop issue and will be working on that.
Let's keep the sound drop discussion focused on that thread - so it will be easier to follow the comments there.
Thanks!
