How can I reach the support line?
The USB 3.0 still switches OFF randomly and I'm getting crazy ![]()
I already installed the Mobo driver and USB 3.0 but the issue still persist. Sometimes it works for 6-7 hours,
sometimes, it switches off ....
Maybe energy management issue ?

Well heres my problem,
I was transfering lots of movie files onto my portable hard drive. It is a 3.0 harddrive and i was using my 3.0 usb port. The problem is that when i plugged it in there was a notification saying that this device would be faster if i plugged it into a 3.0 port. It was also transfering at 2.0 speed. Whats the deal??? I tried to updating the driver and it was up to date.
What should I do?
Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanks.
Here are the facts.
I called the support. They told me the problem is that, I have changed the operation system from Home Premium to Professional (both 64 bit) and in that case they could not guarantee the flawless workaround......
This sounds bit funny but this is a policy, I can't do anything so I have to accept.
In the meantime:
I tried so many things, but today I removed the USB 3.0 monitor (which is a part of the driver) and I have to say , USB 3.0 (Renesas) works as it has to. I did not have any issue till now.
BTW: I'll keep U all informed.

well....well..
I way too happy and optimistic. The problem appeared immediately when I disconnected the power adapter and I left my iPhone connected on USB 3.0.
After about a minute, charging was gone, no communication at all.
I removed the drivers, I uploaded them after the reboot and I switched all USB related energy saving options off under windows 7. I'm sure the issue is related to the Energy management. A cannot beleive that, the problem is caused by something else, but who knows. If the problem still remains, I'll send my notebook to service. It "kills" my patience slowly

HI,
I gave up and I sent my notebook back to the official Lenovo service.
They tested and wrote me back yesterday (after a week) that the Motherboard is faulty, so it needs to be replaced ![]()
It will take at least a week to get the Mobo because they don't have any there.
So it seems, my notebook was faulty and will take 2 weeks from now to get it back.

I don't know if this is something similar, but it is related to the USB ports on the right side of my Y570.
I usually plug in my mouse for gaming on the ports there and it'll work fine for hours and suddenly not work with any device I plug in after it's turned off... The port on the left side works fine, however.
PS- I haven't reinstalled Windows or anything. Been using the default stuff.

Well, I e-mailed the webmaster about this problem and I've read a lot of forum posts, but I really don't want to send it in to repairs yet because I don't want to be without entertainment for a few weeks.
Problem:
The 2 USB 3.0 ports on the right side will not show up on the Device Manager.
I uninstalled and renistalled the Renesas driver a few times and It appeared this morning in the list, and I was able to use it for a few hours until just now when it just disappeared again.
I bought it in December of 2011 and I haven't reinstalled Windows. I have, however, uninstalled a few programs(Norton, Oovoo, etc).
Bios: 47CN30WW(v.2.08)
USB 3.0 drivers are all downloaded from Lenovo's page.
Solutions tried:
Reinstalling worked for a bit.
Changing power settings.
Reinstalling Power Management drivers.
If anyone has a hotfix or anything, I'll give it a try and send it in as a last resort.
