Ok, so I had a similar problem but it is not just Avast. The problem started when I purchased Kaspersky antivirus software. It stopped when I uninstalled Kaspersky. The same problem occurs when I have Avast installed. Basically, any time I try to run a virus scan on my computer I get this bluescreen.
So here's my question. Has anyone found an antivirus program that doesn't cause this problem?

I use AVG. No problems there.
