Y570 Battery Status Indicator Lights Continuously

Hi.

I bought by notebook yesterday and I charged it for like 9 hours. Its battery status indicator lit all night, and it still lights. Is that something normal? If not why it lights like that?

Hi AlGorism and welcome to the Commmunity,

The battery indicator will be lit whenever the ac adapter is plugged in.  

When the battery is charging, it will blink.  At full charge, it's solid.
