Hi I recently bought a y570 so I'v been thinking of upgrading the RAM to a
Kingston hyperx 8GB (2X4) PC3-12800 204 pin
or a
corsair CMSX4GXM1A1600C9 8GB (2X4) PC3-12800 204 pin
so i just want to know if these ram are compatible with my laptop
Thanks.

Firstly, that ram will deliver dual channel performance and secondly, you'd probably need scientific ram testing equipment to tell any diffference, that's how little of a performance boost you'll get from dual channel

As long as it says "DDR3 SDRAM 1333 MHz / PC3-10600 SO DIMM 204-pin" on the ram it's compatible,
"Edit" To the best of my knowledge if you use the 1600 MHz ram it will still only go 1333 MHz, because the bus is limited to 1333 MHz (If I'm wrong I'm opened to being corrected)., unless you're getting the ram for the same price as the 1333 MHz there's no point. The thing that matters is "DDR3" and the "SO DIMM 204-pin"
