Y570 Windows media player problem [ Edited ]

Hi guys..

I recently purchased Lenovo Y570.

But I am facing problem with playing media through windows media player.

The audio / video that is playing automatically pauses and I have to press play again to resume playing.

It gets quite irritating sometimes.

Sometimes, while listening to a playlist, the song gets skipped automatically and the next song starts.

What could be the problem??

I have installed Spider media player & VLC player, but I don't face above problems while playing audio / video files on them. 

Edit: Just now I was playing a song and it paused automatically. I didn't bother to play it again. But after a few minutes, it started playing again.

So, basically it's like some ghost controlling my windows media player - play, pause, skip song.

I could not find similar problem on the internet. Please help. I want media player since it sounds better than spider.

Do you have Lenovo RIC in your system tray? If you do, you could have the auto-DJ turned on. Go to the "assistant" menu, and turn it off.

You may want to disable this "feature" in your start up menu.

Your solution worked. Seems that R.I.C. was detecting some click sounds and controlling the media player.
