Hi, I've recently encountered a strange problem, my Y570 wouldn't boot up for some reason. The power lights turn on, touch keys and battery LED's and you can hear the system turn on, yet I can't even see the LENOVO BIOS prompt or anything, it just hangs there. I then did some resets like holding the power button without a battery and start it with only battery and then with only AC power. But nothing changed, I then removed the HDD and then popped it back in and walla! The computer turned on magically! I though this was the end to this type of problem, but i was wrong, it happened again today. What could be causing this? Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

Dear Lenovo User
Refer to video for Abnormal Startup - No Response for correct troubleshooting.
Since you did discharging capacitors. but It should be in correct order . It is very easy remove all external devices from pc including Battery and AC adapter. Then press Power Button five times and then Connect AC adapter only. If the PC doesnt not wake up again , you can contact with Customer Care or if you can wake up pc again after removing harddisk , please update the bios.Let us know the results.
Hava a nice day

I just got it starting again, I removed the HDD and pushed firmly into the HDD plug and put the screws back in tightly so it wont move a single millimeter and I got it started right away...maybe it is the plug. Ughh...hopefully it won't get worse ![]()

Thanks, but I thinks it's going to be a hardware issue.
