Does anyone have an idea when is the y570 coming out in stores for sale in USA ...?? I'm not really pleased with lenovo's pre-built configurations and price quotes...!

I was told none of y570 on Canadian website dont have usb 3.0 ? !!! Is that really true ???!!!

it's got 2 usb 3.0s.. It was also rumored that its gonna have bluetooth 3.0, however there is no such model with it...

Yes they do have usb 3.0 in USA but i guess not here in Canada.... That info gave me lenovo employee when i wanted to buy that laptop....

Is the 555m 1gb ddr5 in this laptop faster than the 6770 1gb ddr5 in the HP dv6t qe?

I think this confirms that the GT 555M on the Y570 is the second version with GDDR5 1506Mhz and 96 cuda cores @ 740Mhz.   http://www.nvidia.com/object/product-geforce-gt-555m-us.html   Be pretty cool if the cores can be unlocked somehow.

Concerning the HD 6770M, both cards are comparable in regards to FPS.  It's just comes down to personal preference between Radeon/GeForce, price/configuration and availibility.  I'd prefer the Radeon becuase you don't deal with Optimus but the HP in not available in Canada besides the Y570/Y470 has a physical switch to turn off Optimus.

so could you please check out the specs and reviews of both y570 and hp dv6t quad/ dv7t and recommend me the better one, based on features and reliability of the two brands....
