Hi Friend,

If we use Optimize Battery Runtime Option. I think  there may be chance for loosing battery life time. And if we use Optimize Batter ?Life Span it is geeting charged up to 80% only and after some time the charging goes down 6% and the system is going to hibernate

As you told as you change your settings, what is the result in ur system?

Hi, just ran into this problem myself, not sure what to do.  I've tried updating the BIOS (BIOS updated, battery still MIA), I've done the whole holding the power button for 20 seconds thing, and numerous other methods, none of which have worked.  I know the battery can be deteced because if I unplug the AC power, then plug it back in, the little LED on the front of the computer for the battery turns orange, then goes to white, then goes away completely all within 5 seconds or less.  Either way, have you found a solution yet?
