Z575 Wireless Card Upgrade [ Edited ]

My wireless card will not go above 54Mbps, despite all my other laptops hitting at least 144. I tried getting a centrino 6200 off eBay to upgrade however I got a 104 invalid wireless device error at bios. There's nothing wrong the the 6200 as I popped it into an acer and works perfectly. Is there a list of compatable devices anywhere as 80% of the cards I find say not lenovo compatable? I need 300Mbps ideally.

PS currently using rt3090.

As I understand you are looking to upgrade the wireless card.

The compatible wireless card with your laptop are 11b/g/n wireless, PCIe Half Mini Card, Broadcom® or Atheros® chip

Also, before upgrading the wireless card update the BIOS
