Well on my Y570 all the drivers are there and I wouldn't believe otherwise in your case too

Why don't you open the drivers folder and applications folder and post a screenshot of them both so I could have al ook and tell you if anything is missing

Also, if I were you, I would not install the Intel Chipset Drivers, the Intel Rapid Storage Drivers, or the Intel Management components from the original folder as those are outdated

You can get the latest Intel drivers here: http://forums.pctweakers.net/showthread.php/34-Latest-Intel-Drivers

PS: You don't NEED the Intel Turbo Boost Monitor, that is just to display the CPU speed but it will overclock using turbo Boost even without that utility, so only download the first 3

Re: about formating my notebook

1) That looks like all the drivers, just make sure to igmore the chipset drivers, irst, and intel management engine components and grab the latest ones from the link I gave u above. The latest intel rapud storage technology give u a vast performance increase.

Regarding Windows, please bear in mind that if u buy a key, u will be able to use that same key to install a 32 bit edition of windows or a 64 bit. The same key worls the same but just make sure u have the right version( example: Windows 7 Professional)

And I wouldn't recommend u install a 32 bit windows because then u r limited to 3.25 GB of RAM as the 32 bit architecture cannot physically adress. RAM more than 3.25. So u r limited performance wise. Plus, I have never come across a program that will not work on 64 bit windows. 32 bit programs just install themselves in: C:\Program Files (x86) and 64 bit programs go in: C:\Program Files

Re: about formating my notebook

By the way, if u want to have a clean install from a Windows 7 DVD, u don't need to buy it since u legally own a Windows 7 product key which is on the sticker underneath ur laptop.

Download Windows 7 from this link (this is a genuine Windows 7 image from Microsoft, not cracked or touched) then use the product key under ur laptop to activate it: http://forums.pctweakers.net/showthread.php/46-Windows-7-Download-Links

1) IRST = Intel Rapid Storage Technology, this is essential for enhanced performance/power management features for your HDD//SSD

Correct Order of installing drivers thread

2) Yes pick the editiion which came with your notebook so you can activate legally
