hi, i got my y560 about 2-3 months ago and since then there have been a couple instances where i charge my battery and I get a warning message from windows 7 that it suggests replacing the battery... but when i unplug the charger and plug it back in again the battery warning will go away.
is this something i should be worried about or just a windows error?

it is not your computer's fault, it is an issue windows 7 that microsoft doesn't want to admit to.
as i remember, microsoft released windows 7 fix, but couldn't remember download page, so, i suggect you to check windows update.
we are investigating this issue in conjunction with our hardware partners, which appears to be related to system firmware. we are working with our partners to determine the root cause and will update the forum with information and guidance as it becomes available.
if you are currently experiencing the message “consider replacing your battery” while using windows 7, we would like to hear from you. please send an email to commod@microsoft.com and include your forum display name and contact information.
when composing the email, be sure to include the word battery in the subject line. in the body of the email, please include your forum display name, and the link to this thread.
thanks for helping!
