how to disable boot jingle, and beep upon removal of power adapter, on U330

I just recieved my U150 that i order for my girfriend for school and it has the bios jingle.  I would have though that if it was fixed in a bios update for the older models it would be fixed for this one.  I was wrong.   No I am going to have fix this before i give it to her for christmas, so i either have to return it and take the restock return charge, or hope there is a bios update before class starts on january 13th.  Why is this not an option in the bios.

Ok, just looked at the bios and found it.  You changed the name.  There is a setting to change the Boot logo volume, to turn off the jingle set that value to 0

Hi,

using Y430, updated the BIOS, no POST sound in the advanced menu... No such an option in the power management (running ubuntu 9.04)... please fix this...
