Well just got my new i5 V570, not for gaming but I do like to play games sometimes. I installed a game I frequent online: Killing Floor. As I was playing I moved about but could not use my mouse at the same time I used the WASD keys. Frustrated I searched for ways to fix this but couldnt find any. I updated the touchpad driver, tried Doom 3, same problem. It didn't fix it. How can I make the 2 work together for a FPS or really any sort of 3D game? One disables the other while playing and I don't understand why. I've been around computers my whole life and this hasn't happened before on my previous laptops. Please let me know if there is any way I can fix this. Thank you.

Right click on the Synaptic Pointing Devices that is near the clock in the start bar.
Properties
Device Settings - Settings
then go to Pointing and expand the menu, Expand the Sensitivity menu, select PalmCheck and move the slider for it all the way to minimum and apply, the problem should be gone.
