Hi. No. Just take care of your battery still.

Keeping your battery charged at 100% all the time can reduce its life. If you plan to keep the laptop pluged in all the time set energy management to best battery health.

No negative effects i know of,
however i believe that machines need a rest too,
so at the end of every day, when i shut down the laptop,
i disconnect it from the mains as well.
And that to my thinking is best

I am still checking for this in internet but no clear answer... As "BrownEye02" said i always use "best battery health" mode to stop the charge at 50%. After 1month of purchase of my laptop my battery wear is 9%. its already died to 9%, so i dont agree with what he said. Battery will lose its charge holding capacity whenever u use your laptop with battery inserted.
Better Solution:
Use your laptop without battery, plug it into a home ups, if you dont have, try to use desktop UPS, and connect directly in AC power. If you ever need to use your laptop during power failure, then use your battery, in that case keeping it in AC power always is not a problem.

i have best battery mode on and the charge is at 50%. So I can just let it run out and recharge again?

There are some negatives with that.
1.The battery not being in its place, will allow dust dirt and particles to enter the pc,
Not good.
2.İf there is a power cut or even worse a power sourge, the battery will protect the laptop,
and keep it running.
No battery in place and the laptop could well suffer damage.
These things need to be taken into account.

Meek Milly,
İ don't fret too much about these things, neither is there a need
İ too have it in best battery mode, and it discharges gradually.
At the moment its down to 48% and when it reaches a low enough level,
i let it recharge again, and when it reaches close to 100% again,
i change over to 'best battery health mode.
Should be fine.
Don't worry.
