try to re-install touchpad drivers first, if it doesn't work, just remove the touchpad drivers, restart your computer and let windows install the drivers manually.

post back if issue persists.

yes, if you let windows install drivers, you won't be able to use scroll & zoom.

try to install driver from directly synaptics.

Correct me if i am wrong,but lenovo's synaptics driver is copying the necessary synSlidebar.dll and inf settings to registry, which official synaptics drivers does not have by default.

So, it leads to no working slidenav as it depends on it.

Anyway, if not working slidenav doesnt bothering you , use somekind fresher drivers than 14.0.3:

try to hibernate with intel graphics and try resuming (of course if you have SG).
