due to we had a long running discussion in the forum on y560 video issue (1) and y560 video issue (2),including abnormal gradients, pixelization (ants) around the edges of windows, etc; i thought it'd be better to start new one due to lenovo already published new bios update.
please, make sure you have installed version 71 or later of the bios and are using the latest video drivers from the lenovo website.
ps: for graphic card drivers, do not forget to take a look at this thread ( un-official solution ).

My issue is with streaming video stutter. It is NOT a connection issue, and I've tried codecs, settings, you name it. Essentially my problem is primarily streaming video using DivX web player, the sound is fine, but video stutters, on my display and external hdmi to tv. I'm also wondering how to activate warranty so I can figure some of this stuff out if I've got a problem with my hardware. Thanks for any tips.

I noticed the same thing when watching video online. I thought it was just a one-time deal that might require a driver update or something. I'll have to check again whenever my Y560 gets back from the service center to see if that problem persists. In the meantime, I'd suggest you try to upgrade to the newest BIOS / Video Drivers / Audio Drivers / and Web Player and see if that helps.
If not, call the warranty support center (USA) at 1-877-453-6686. The number for Canada might be different, but I'm sure that they could at least give you the number you need.

I bought my y560 core i7-740 , ATI 5730 , 4GB ram , 450 GB hard drive , 5 weeks ago . my screen automatically goes black and then come back after each 15 min and i get Display driver stopped responding and has recovered !!???
and another problem is every time i shutdown the laptop when i wanna use it again i have to wait 17 min to completely windows load and then i can login and again i have to wait 5 min to completely login !!!!????
i already checked for new drivers but there isn't !!!!

I've downoaded this driver and installed it, but CCC show me, that the driver ver. is 8.752

Why do you remove my posts, I am trying to warn Lenovo about a possible series error that could possibly harm Motherboard. You would better check my complaint instead.
