v570 ethernet rj45 ports no lights?

Hello

It boggles the mind how low the quality of v570 I received yesterday is

One dead pixel. Oh well I can live with that.

Worse, the Ethernet port appears dead. Unplugged 3 working cables from other machines, and always got "cable unplugged" on v570. No lights whatsoever, no green, no orange.

Just a sanity check in case I am doing something stupid, but the rj45 jack is supposed to be operational on v570, no?

It is sad to know you have issue with your new laptop.

Please make sure the Ethernet driver is installed and the lan cable is fine which is connected to the Ethernet port.

If the issue persist then I suggest you to contact the support center.

if the modem or router your rj45 is plugged in to is not working, the lights on the v570's rj45 port won't light.
