wireless LAN

It is strange that my Y510 cannot connect via Apple Airport Extreme wireless base station. It cannot detect any signal from the apple wireless base station at all. My other computers (Windows PC, Windows notebook and Macbook pro) are all working fine. But, when I switch to an older Apple Express Base station, it sees the signal and connects wirelessly that way.

I don't see the reason behind this since other comouters both Windows and Mac machines in my network are all working properly using the newer Apple Airport Extreme wireless base station.

Can anyone help? Thanks.

Re: wireless LAN

Hi,

I just purchased Ideapad S10e and it cannot find Apple Airport Express wireless signal. My IBM R52 does. I contacted both the Apple and Lenovo and both tell me the other party is quilty. Now I have reported the problem through IBM.com support service, but let's see if they will help me.

It has been a long time since you posted the problem, what was your solution?

I know that another wifi device would help me out, but I like the printer and speaker connection feature of the Apple Aiport.

Re: wireless LAN

Check used channel (1-11), used mode (b/g) and set in device settings "Roaming Agressiveness" to low.

You both haven't specified your model of WiFi card - this could be helpfull info.
