Re: y560 dead

hi ishaan,

if you have valid warranty, call support line to ship your laptop back to service. if you don't have valid warranty and/or want to fix it by yourself, there are couple of threads that may help you to recover the bios. please, search the forum.

Re: y560 dead

i'm not sure if you could replace the bios chip but replacing the battery wouldn't help. have you tried hard reset instead?

-remove the battery and un-plug the ac power, press power button for 30-40 seconds, replace the battery and check if it works.
