can you try to update drivers anyway?
Huh, already did a system restore to factory defaults.
The drivers are now ok, but this was expected.
I didn't try to install from the last link you proided.
Saw your post too late. Sorry.

This is an interesting thing.
As kbz1960 wrote in this post http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/IdeaPad-Y-U-B-V-and-Z-
Is there any difference between these two drivers?

same versions? if so, i think, it's just typo issue.
Ok. I won't try to update the GPU driver then. Restoring my system to factory defaults helped.
Thanks for the attention. Cheers!

One question i would appreciate very much if someone could help understand this.
I've bought this laptop yesterday and made a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate because i have a couple of external HD's encrypted so i need to use this version that i have bought when it was released.
I've tried to install Catalyst version 11.12 but to no avail i only had the VGA display. I've installed the official version from Lenovo from January 2011 and all installed ok.
I've made then an upgrade to 11.12 but it did nothing to update the drivers.
What I ask is this: do we need to use only the official Lenovo issued drivers and have to cope with extremely outdated drivers from them, or there is another solution to this?
Thanks very much to any any help provided.
