y570 Nvidia card no longer functions

My laptop restarted while I was sleeping last night, now the nvidia driver says no card is present and the light on the optimus switch is stuck on. Checked device manager and gpu-z, card does not show up at all, only the intel integrated graphics.

Nevermind, I seemed to have fixed it. Video card must have come unseated, I opened up the bottom and pushed gently on the heatsink and turned it back on... good to go. Weird!

Does that model have a actual "card"
that fits in a slot? (MXM)

I mean, if not, and gpu is soldered to motherboard,
you may have a problem...

I'm not sure, I didnt remove the heatsink to check, but it looks to me like it's soldered on... so yes I am still worried.

aaaaaaaaaaand it did it again. Computer suddenly shut down, reboots, no nvidia card.

You better call tech support if you have warranty.
