z470 touchpad has a bubble

Just received my laptop, brand new, and the touchpad has an air bubble underneath it.

Figured I'd just get used to it, but alas, it's highly obnoxious.

Anyone experienced this before or have any suggestions?  Can I get a new "grip" for it, pull the old one up and tape the new one down?

Problem resolved.  Turns out there was a "protective" film over top, just like they do with the screen. So tack that one up to the "doesn't work cause it's not plugged in" category.
