hi, I've bought ideapad z570 some weeks ago and have troubles with it(since buying) When I switch(using button) to the discrete nvidia video card and launch app(which using 3d graphics), windows 7 freeze and show bsod(driver nvlddmkm.sys, error 0x116). Internal intel video card works great. I found a way(hack
) how to use nvidia card: I switch to nvidia (using button), set maximum performance in lenovo energy management and reboot. After this every games/apps works great. How can I fix it? Thanks. PS: sorry for my english.

your link doesn't work
It's not button...I don't know how to name it
... video card switcher on front side of notebook
I just want to know, is this hardware or software bug? Because if this is hardware bug, I'll give laptop in the shop for repairing.

To save you the trouble, this didn't work. I did a clean re-install, installed nothing else and the problem still occurs. I can't even go into NVIDIA control panel because even attempting to load the 3D preview in the control panel sends me straight to the blue screen.
I think I'll have to return this laptop...
