A31 Backlight

I have a wonderful A31 that has the pink screen start-up syndrome. Is the florescent light used for the A31 screen a generic one that can be ordered or is it a find-on-ebay type item? Also, could the inverter also cause the pink screen start-up syndrome? Pink start-up syndrome is when the screen has a pink color bias on initial boot that fades to a normal screen after about 30 to 60 seconds.

Re: A31 Backlight

As long as you get the correct size CCFL it will work just fine.

Backlight is the only thing causing the red/pink/orange hue on startup. Inverter has no bearing on this matter.

Good luck.

Cheers,

George
