Failure to Print using Z60M

For the past two months I've been getting print failures on large print jobs.  I connect wirelessly and even the reaction time from hitting the print button to it actually printing is minutes.  However, the most annoying by far is the half printing where I get print failures and the system starts to reprint from page 1 rather than where it left off.  A friend says I have to upgrade my ram from 512 the original to 2gb.  Any recommendations or solutions to my problem?
