Need help on what model...

Hello to everyone here on forum. First time here and new on this site.

Been looking for this site on internet 'til one of my friend send me the link.

Maybe someone can tell me me what model of IBM notebook i have. There's

no model number i can find at the bottom, just the type and serial number.

Its from my dad actually, its an old one. And my little brother lost the AC Power

cord thats why cant used it. I can't order a battery or power cord not until

i know what model i have. I show you some pictures of the laptop, might help

too i know. I tried all about computer forums about this and my friend said

to go straight to IBM site.

Would greatly appreciate your help!

It kind of looks like one of the 500s.  What's the type number you found on the bottom?

that's definitely a thinkpad 500.   it has a 50MHz 486SLC2, 7.4" display, 4MB memory, and 170MB hard drive.   it was introduced in 1994 if memory serves.
