Z60m 2529FKG and Vista: Fn-F7 switching panel to VGA / both

again Vista related

Key-combination Fn-F7 that used to switching TFT panel to VGA and both does not work in Vista by default as it did under XP. It simply does nothing. Anyone knows if I have to (re)enable anything to get it working again?

Have you downloaded the brand new driver software for the Presentation director for Vista.

Downloaded - yes. But: Installed - no. I am afraid of gimmicks and relating unnecessarily running back daemons eating up rare CPU ressources on this machine.

So from your explanation I assume, that this will only work, when this package is installed...?

Currently having to finish a development project, working on the XP harddrive. If I find some time again I will plug in the Vista installation, taking a snapshot, first and trying then. Will let you know.

Fn + F7 button needs the Presentation director to function properly.

Sorry opposed to my previous writing - no ! I did not download Presentation director for Vista. Where did you find it? I only found the old one for Win2000/XP...
