Hi,
For some reason my integrated camera seems to have completely disappeared from my computer except for the "Uninstall" option. I tried to install the software from the Lenovo website to no avail. Is there something I should try to do, or should I look into buying a separate camera?

does it pop up in the hardware manager under system in control panel?

It pops up under "imaging devices" as "Unknown device." It says the driver is uninstalled, but I thought I reinstalled it last night.

you didn't install the drivers, you simply unpacked the drivers, now go to the folders that you unpacked the drivers and install it from there.

I installed the drivers after unpacking them when I first downloaded it the other night, but nothing showed up. Should I do it again?

go into the device manager and click on the unknown device and update driver, then direct the windows to search for the driver in the unpacked folder.

I directed it to search for the driver in that folder, and it says "Cannot install hardware because software cannot be found." Is there something I'm missing?

Is this the driver you downloaded and extracted? The default extraction location is C:\DRIVERS\WIN\CAMERA Have you run the setup file from that location?

That is the driver I installed, and I did run the setup file. I'm able to direct Device Manager to search in that folder for the driver, but it isn't showing up.
My model is 9453-CTO.
