3000 N100 Notebook "stalls" on startup [ Edited ]

I am a new user of Lenovo community; and my laptop stalls on startup “ doesn’t start the Bios” when I bush the power on key the fan work for few seconds then stops and the machine is dead with Power supply and battery, or with power supply no battery or battery alone. The power supply is the original lenove 20v 65w.The problem was intermitted for about few days then the laptop stopped completely, I bush the power on key the fan start for few second then nothing happen.  Lenovo 3000 N100 0768Serial number L3-xxxxx, OS Windows XP Pro SP2

It's interesting this fault is now showing on an N100. I thought up until now it's only been reported on N200s...

I couldn’t find a solution in url you have provided, do you have a solution to this problem, from my reading to the problem of n200 it is exactly the same as my n100.

 

Any suggestions.

There's no solution. Return your machine for a refund.

Adamr, My machine is out of warranty, I have read that if you use power supply 24v / 90 watts may work, I am going to try.
