3000 N100 USB problem

My 3000 N100 has a problem with the USB ports (all of them); any time you touch a key on the keyboard, the USB ports power down momentarily.  Has anyone seen this, and if so, is there a fix?

We are having the exact same problem.  We have tried replacing the usb port and the keyboard. 

 

Please help!  Any ideas?
