3000 N200 - More a question than a problem (sound)

I have been wondering about a thing for quite a while.

If I have programs running and I listen to music on my labtop - aswell as if I play games. (things which has to do with a lot of graphic and loading)

The speakers make "tikking" sounds. It is quite hard to describe them, perhaps it sounds a bit like a metal detector device. (now I know one sounds different than another, but atleast the interval is a bit the same)

It has been like this ever since I got the computer, so I'm pretty sure its a memory problem. (Basically it can't handle ex a game and the sound/music at same time)

If there is a solution to perhaps fix it, feel free to post,  as well if anyone has same experience.
