Hey Duck3,
Thanx for the reply. May I ask a stupid question? when I download the driver from synaptics, will it put it in the right place on my puter for the system to find it?

When you download Any file, you have to note
where it is being saved.(Example of Default Win 7 location:
C:\Users\"Username"\Downloads
Then "run" the setup, usually by Double Clicking the downloaded program.
I would also suggest Temporarily disabling any anti-virus program when installing a program.
(After scanning it, of course!)

Using Windows Seven Professional - 64bit - Touchpad Driver
1. Download Vista drivers
2. Decompress
3. Run setup.exe. Found in the unzipped folder, eg C: \ DRIVERS \ Vista \TCHPSY \ WinWDF \ x64 \
4. My TouchPad is happy.
