Hi Fellow Lenovo Lovers
I just bought a 3000 Y500 notebook, very happy. Cute little machine.
Immediately took Vista off and installed XP Pro- and now I have 2 hardware errors in the device manager-SM Bus Controller and an Unknown Device in the system devices, which becomes a Lenovo ACPI-Compliant Virtual Power Controller once the Energy Cut app is installed.
I have downloaded and installed all the drivers etc from the Lenovo download page, but nothing works. Neither does checking for Windows updates.
Can anyone tell me what I need to do to fix this?
