4446-36U / G530 Internal Network (WLAN)

Hello,

My sister has a Levono 4446-36U which from what I understand is a G530, please correct me If I am wrong.  I was hoping to upgrade her WLAN.  I recently found out that some manufacturers build that internal network as an integral part of the motherboard.  Thus although it is accessible replacing it will result in a non-functional notebook.

What's the status on the Levono G530 specifically the 4446-36U model?  Can it's internal network be replaced and upgrade to improve the speed of wireless access or like others is one locked in and truly limited to original specs?

You can upgrade the Wlan card for your model  4446-36U

The Wlan Card installed currently  is  PCI Express Mini Card 

You may refer below link how to remove and replace the Wlan card
