Hello, I have a Lenovo B560 series with Windows Home Premium 7. The computer is approx. 3 months old and works fine except the power manager.
I set it for "high performance", but if during use on battery, the battery gets too low, it changes to "Energy Star" mode. The issue is that when I plug in the cord, or even turn off the PC and recharge the battery, the PC STAYS in the "Energy Star" mode. This occurs even though I have changed multiple settings, (IE screen dim time) etc. and SAVED the settings. It is getting really annoying to have to reset these settings every time I turn the PC back on.
Why is it that this PC will not remember the power management settings?
Also, does anyone find it odd that "Lenovo" is not in the spell check dictionary?
Thanks

I also have the same problem.
I have tried changing it in safe mode but after a day it changes back.
I was wondering if "TuneUp Utililities" might be doing it????

The link you gave me is not for my laptop, mine is a G570 & the driver was last updated 2010, so I have the latest driver as I only bought this a month ago.
