B560 won't boot

Hi,

My B560 wont start immediately when the power button is pressed - today it booted after 90 minutes!

I've installed energycut, tried running the T61 static discharge trick, removed the RAM, swapped the hard disk but still it won't boot immediately.

Any ideas?

could be power button fault.
check if the okr button works.

same thing happens with the okr.

try this trick, un-plugged the ac power and remove the battery, press power button for 30-40 seconds, replace the battery and check if it works.

press f8 to load "last known good configuration" when you see lenovo logo at start-up.

that didn't help either. Going to call Lenovo now and get a fix under warranty hopefully.

My laptop is being picked up tomorrow, I suspect for a motherboard replacement. I'll post back when it's returned to me, hopefully soon!

I got my laptop back yesterday - the report says that the mainboard has been replaced.

Thankfully the boot problem is fixed.
