B575 laptop mystery-

Greetings,

I have owned my B575 for about 8 months and have been pleased with it.  I recently decided to hook an external keyboard, monitor, mouse to the box, essentially porting without a port, but I can't figure out how to run my new setup using only the external monitor with the laptop closed.  Can this not be done on this model?  Sorry for the noob question; I have scoured the 'net and this forum and can't find an answer to my question.

Hi TQ and welcome to the community,

Try going into Control Panel, Power options, on the left click Choose what closing the lid does, and choose do nothing.
