Battery not charging.

Hi,

 

I have a lenovo 3000 530G laptop.

 

The problem I am facing is; when the laptop is connected to power source via a charger, the laptop is not charging.

It is working like a desktop without the UPS. So the laptop runs because of the power from the charger, but it shows 0% charge available and whenever I remove the charger the laptop switches off.

 

Is there any solution to this?

 

I had visited a service centre, they changed the battery but still it was not charging.

Are you running with an "official" Lenovo battery? I've noticed some finicky issues when I tried running with an off-brand battery.

Is your laptop still under warranty?
