I´m as well shocked by the fact that a big company cannot keep its web page up to date. These newer firmwares (for n200 0769) do exists, so what is the reason not to publish them??? Has anyone made contact to lenovo regarding this topic? I tried to but still wait for a call back... since 3 days!!!
I´m disapointed about lenovo, also had to send in my book for repair after just 1 month of usage!
well, we had in our company a business-contract for repair all ibm/lenovo notebooks within 24 hours. thats the point why i'am buy a cheap private lenovo machine - but i wouldn't do this again. since yesterday, a second pixel on the display died forever (the n200 was now 4 month old) :-( and, all over, the 3000 series has not the quality of R or T series (yes, i know this before i buy the book). my old 12" msi centrino book was now 3 1/2 years old and do the work like the first day.
I understand the frustration over the delay in getting the updated BIOS packaged and uploaded to the web. I believed that it should have been available within a week or two when I offered previous guidance. We have been awaiting receipt of the code for some weeks, and it appears there is another, newer version in the pipeline. (See announcement at the top of this board, or Click HERE for the link that that BIOS update page.)
As BIOS versions are cumulative, the decision may have been to just hold and release this next version.
As one can see a number of systems were updated, and both model types for the N200 are listed as "coming soon" .
While "soon" is obviously relative, I don't believe it will take until June.
