Hello all,
I have a Lenovo G550 laptop. I wish to know if I can add a discrete graphics card to this laptop. If yes, could You please suggest which one should I buy?
Thank You in advance for Your replies and time,

Thanx Lead Org...
But why Lenovo didn't provide any extra slot to popin that graphics card? Anyways, I think it's my fault. I don't know much about the laptops and bought this one without giving a thought to the specs.
I think I'll have to get myself a new laptop...
Thanx for Your time and reply Sir.
Good Day...

the only way to add graphics card on laptop is if it has a MXM slot. This type of slot is very rare and only exists in some higher end laptops, i know a lot of ASUS laptops have this type of slot. However, you should note that the MXM graphics card are rare in aftermarkets and highly expensive, and it is that easily upgradeable, due to power supply concern and heat dissipation concern.
if you want to play games, get a desktop instead. A good MXM would set you back a couple hundreds of pounds, which is more than enough to get a good desktop.
