I put a blank CD into my DVD drawer to copy to it, and it is stuck shut. When I push the open/close button, it makes a short "grr" sound but doesn't open. I used a paper clip in the small hole beside it, but can't feel anything depressing or clicking.
I looked up the manual, and it said "unplug the computer and remove the battery before removing the CD drive." I can't find the directions for removing the CD drive (unless they are calling it by another name, there are directions for removing lots of parts, maybe I don't recognize what they are calling the CD drive).
Obviously, I am not a "certified Lenovo technician" like it says you must be to remove any screws, but I optimistically believe I could take it apart if I just keep repeating "righty-tighty and "lefty-loosey" .
Does anyone know where to find directions for taking the CD drive out to get a stuck CD out of it?
