I have lenovo 3000 N 100 notebook.....0768-GZQ model....80 GB ,512 RAM
I was using my laptop and i changed my lap name.it asked me to restart the system....so i did.Then when restarting..it showed me that some system file is missing.I got shocked..i didn't know what to do....took a windows vista CD of my friends.His is DELL.I thought that...i can replace that system file from that cd.Then it asked me to install windows vista again.So i agreed to that and then pressed enter.Then suddenly i thought i have this lenovo care button.So i thought to use that to get the system file.So pressed cancel to that installing windows vista of my friends.Then i pressed this lenovo care button.I got shocked when it didn't show anything even after i pressed lenovo care buton after restarting.Earlier when i came to know that some system file is missing,i pressed this lenovo care button.It was working at that time.But now when i cancelled this installing windows vista cd...its not showing anything.
So i had to format my system.Now how to get back windows vista.I didn't keep any backup at that time.I just have the SWTOOLS folder with me now.Please help me about this.I just formatted that 68.39 GB given by them.Also 1 more drive was given by them.I don't know what is that.I didn't format this extra drive given by them.So can i get windows vista back(genuine one).Is there any use with that extra hard disk drive or should i format that too.If i format that can i use that.Will that be added to that present 68.39 GB.
