G460 hung in BIOS after Mac OS install

Question

My G460 not booting up, its hung BIOS..

->When laptop boot  up its hung  f2 to BIOS & F12 Boot order Menu.

->Even unable to enter the BIOS setup & boot order menu..

-> I have tried BIOS recovery option , its entry the recovery mode & reading the USB drive.

-> I got beep sounds every few SEC's( one beep & two continuous beeps)

-> I'm trying to run Mac Snow Leopard OS

Answer

You need to restore your disk as comes from factory.   If you created recovery DVD's you can use these, or if you have not wiped out the hidden system partition, you can power off and press the 'novo' button to boot to the hidden partition and follow the steps to restore to factory condition.  Note, this will wipe all data.

To install from recovery disks, you need to connect the disk using an USB interface or using another computer.

Note: Only properly licensed copies of an OS should be used.

It's not hung, it's just that you obviously have no bootloader.

Try an original SL 10.6.3 retail DVD with a bootloader like "iBoot" (better with the parameters -x -v busratio=xx {the busratio of your CPU} if you want to install OSX.

If you want to be sure you can install Ubuntu Linux afterwards. It comes with the bootloader GRUB which identifies also OSX.
