G470 ATI driver update

Hi guys

I'm trying to run a game which require ATI latest driver 10.1 

However, the one on lenovo is quite 8.79, the game support team told me that it 's two years old!!!

I have try to download from ATI/AMD, it doesnt work

seem like i need to get  an offical upgrade,When can I get it? i really love this game

Hello,

Go back to ATI here:  http://www.amd.com/us/Pages/AMDHomePage.aspx

On the top right of the page, hover over "find a driver."

Click on auto-detect and follow the prompts thereafter.

I just used it and it updated the ATI driver on my B575.

Note: Although bypassing the manufacturer's driver package is not recommended, it is sometimes necessary to gain the enhanced functionality that you require and if something goes wrong, please have the manufacturer's driver package downloaded and ready to be reapplied if necessary.

First off, the latest ATI driver is 8.892 so your 10.1 has to be incorrect. So I think that 10.1 really applies to a Direct X version requirement. To check the version installed on your laptop go to the search box and type "dxdiag" (return) and without the quotes. Check your version and if is it lower than 10.1, download the latest version from Microsoft that is applicable to your OS and hardware. Note: This may not be as high as 10.1.

I try that already, I cant bypass it unfortunately

I really think that the 10.1 refers to a DirectX version and not a specific graphics card driver version. Also, as far as I know, they do not list a "latest driver requirement" for every PC; however, most games do list a minimum DirectX version requirement.

Hi there,

I wanted to upgrade my graphic driver since my graphic driver is same as the poster,

i used the auto detect, AMD detected new driver, but when i tried to install they say i dont have a proper graphic adapter....

Anyone have same problem as me?
I really want to upgrade my driver =)
