G470 not detect bluetooth

Hi, My laptop ideapad G470 didn't detect bluetooth. I press Fn+F5 it only display wireless, don't show buetooth. I downloaded bluetooth driver to install but when i install, it say 

No bluetooth was detcted, please sure that your bluetooth device is plugged inproperly in order to continue installion 

please help me

I was able to use it  from my g470 on linux debian to my nokia n950 ...

can you check device management if there is any unknown device?
it could be windows issue if it works on linux and you may need to re-install the operation system.

I have been trying to install my Bluetooth back since I first reformatted my laptop

I turned off the bluetooth software of my laptop when I reformatted it for the first time back at Oct, 2011

and after installing Windows 7 Ultimate x64 from Windows 7 Home Premium x64 (clean install)

I can't install my bluetooth and it displays "No Bluetooth Found" or Bluetooth Peripheral device found.. what should I do.

can I use CMD to manually activate my sleeping bluetooth without the driver? Just how

have you tried to activate bluetooth by pressing fn+f5? ( the wireless management window should show up and you will also need to click on/off button to activate bluetooth )

i have lenovo g470,, everything was working fine unless i installed win8....

i decided to rollback to win7 and found that one key recovery doesnt work in win8... so i installed win7 from my friend's installation disk,,, bt my bluetooth and fn+f5 is not working,,, the hard drive is not listed in device manager... even the one key recovery is not working,,, it simply boots the system instead of entering recovery mode.....

thanks for posting. Could you possibly PM me your serial number of your machine as there some model of the G470 that are not equipped with the Bluetooth.

Thanks for posting and welcome to the community. In regards to your issue when you opted to input the Win 8 did you do an optional upgrade or you did a clean installation.

The thing wihthe Win8 is that when opt for the upgrade from Win7 there is a huge possibilty that it has wiped the recovery partition. That is why you are not able to do the recovery. in regards to the bluetooth and Fn+F5, try installing the lenovo Energy management again. It might work . The link can be found below.

well the weird this is that it disapeared from my gnu/linux system , lsusb does not show it anymore ?

Wny hints ?
