that is the time from the moment one press the power bottom and the time it start booting your OS from the HDD. In other words, the time the BIOS  is doing it own  things.

The HW should be OK, ´cuz the problem didn´t presented itself with the old BIOS 6GET17WN(V 1.08) But the latest APEX_BIOS (V.1.15) which I did downloaded and installed myself recently.

I would like to hear from people who had this problem, and how went about solving the problem. Thanks.
