Hi everybody,

I got the 6GET19WWT02.zip file. The problem is because I didn't know I have a forum mailbox. The file is sent to this mail box. Sorry to bother Cleo so much.

Thank you Cleo,

Re: G530 Video driver problem (XP)

Hi Cleo,

I'm experiencing the same problems. I switched the bios because I couldn't change the brightness. Now I have a very long start up. I would greatly appreciate it, if you could send me the file.

I was also wondering how stable this beta bios is? Anybody have any problems yet?

Thanks.

This BIOS works GREAT. I've used it for months and it is totally stable. Cures the screen problem 100%.

G530 4446 screen resolution is not the native 1280x800 - fix released

[ Edited ]

Hi All,

Good news! An official link about this fix will be available in Lenovo Support website today. It would be a Hints & Tips article. I will inform you guys about the link when it is up.

Updated: 23rd March 2010: Get the hints and tips here : Screen resolution can not be fixed at 1280 x 800 - Lenovo N500 or G530...

Thanks to RFW for posting your comment. I"m sure blee and redrain can't wait to try the new bios :smileyhappy:

Blee, your issue is about screen brightness issue and it's not as discussed here the screen resolution issue. However, you may try this new bios. I shared it with a forum member (chetp) and his issue resolved :smileyhappy:

See discussion: G530 4446 boot time issue after bios update

Cheers,

Cleo
