I was working until 4:00AM and found a way to solve the problem, in another topic here in the forum. The key is to help the Win Xp to recognize the media device.
FIRST insall any audio device you can use this one http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/documen
the install is going fine and it finds the sound card. This driver doesn't work, but helps.
SECOND then install the driver I have reffered before in my first post, and because Windows already have this hardware the installation of the driver is just smooth and without problems.
WORKS

Hi,
This solution has worked for me for G550 Audio installation
1. Download ConexantAudioDriver.exe (for G430). This is a 9.12 MB file from lenovo site.
2. Download kb888111xpsp2.exe (google is your friend
).
then follow the following steps.
PS: Ensure you have uninstalled these if you have previously installed these item.

Sadly, non of the solutions seem to work for me.
I installed: http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/documen
The kb888111xpsp2.exe doesn't work either cause I have sp3, so when I run it it says I already have everything I need.
On the other hand, I have unknown PCI Device in Device manager (with yellow "?" and "!"), so I tried manually to install ConexantAudioDriver on it, but it says that his .inf file has nothing relevant for that device. Allowing it to go online for search didn't help either.
Should also say that I installed XPsp3 which I added some driverpacks so it could work in AHDI, but I had the same problem with normal XPsp3 install (with IDE).
Help anyone?

I am not sure, but may be the problem is un the SP3. I didn't install anything from Windows update before driver installation and it works.

Yes G550 and G555 seem to have the same issue with installing the sound in XP. The problem can be fixed if you install SP3. Then you can install the original sound driver from the website.
